A SWV Review: Episode 6Posted by Paulie at

As always, by Sarah B. Alas, my final review. It has been a great time writing these reviews for you, my loyal and devoted fans. Yes, all four of you. Most importantly, I am glad that I finally surrendered to the force after all of these years. I can’t believe that I survived in a Star Wars-less life. It was a dark time I tell you. A dark time. Now that I am no longer a Star Wars Virgin, I see things in a new light... I take a second look at Star Wars M & M packaging, I seek out new & interesting Star Wars sites, I strive to deepen my knowledge on all things Star Wars and spend hours on ebay looking for that Princess Leia slave-girl outfit (okay, kidding I really want to be an Ewok). Now to get to the review… Seriously, this movie kicked butt. Here are some random thoughts: Darth – I knew you would come back to the good side, I knew it! You made me happy cry! I was so ecstatic. He saved Luke and finally killed that a-hole Palpatine. I was so proud, as proud as I could possibly be of a weird old dude that sounds and looks like a big plastic vacuum. Secretly in the back of my mind, I imagined he still looked like Hayden Christiansen when the mask came off… it was hot. Han & Leia – Good for you. Now go have lots of Jedi babies so Luke has something to do with his time. Luke – Face deformedness aside, you are still my hero. You believed in your dad and he came through in the end. The best part - you didn’t succumb to the dark side as we all thought your whiney immature self would do. Lando Calrissian – Still cool my friend, still cool. Ewok – Could they be more cute & hairy? I think not. I want one, where can I get one? Pet shop? However, I almost puked when they worshipped the gold guy as their god. They need to kill the gold guy, not praise him. I HATE the gold guy. I wish Jabba would have eaten him. And R2D2, I still love you the most. Enough random thoughts already. This film was the perfect ending and compilation of everything I have learned about Episodes 1 through 5 (in that order). I am wowed and amazed. WOWED AND AMAZED. And that’s all I have to say about that. Except to leave you with a most fitting and final Star Wars quote “Young fool... Only now, at the end, do you understand...” May The Force Be With You... Always |
