Happy New-ish Year!

8:30 on NYE, waiting on Ben to arrive so we can head out with some friends. Everyone's all over the world - Leo's presumably in Japan (?), Mark is down in St. Lucia, Guy's likely enjoying the new year with Chihiro and their new baby, Hiroko is in Nashville or Miami, Janelle's down in Palm Beach, Cristina and Mauro are somewhere around Florida, Rory and Jen are at a wedding, who knows where Wilson is (Lanigan?), and I'm in my room in Saskatoon.

2005 was a pretty quiet year. I spent it mostly working, except for a fantastic 2-week road trip through the US with Ben. So good, I think we're going for a repeat this summer.

I know I've been slack at updating the site this year, but it was probably for the best - I needed some time away from the memories the site always gives me. I needed to start thinking about settling down, which I'm still not sure I'll do.

What will 2006 bring? Well, maybe tomorrow we'll talk about my 10/100 plan, aka 730 salads. It's in my brain, and hopefully it'll work its way out, hangover allowing.
