Yes, 1am and the site is sorta back up. It was a productive night.. Installed iLife '06, imported 13,000 photos and images from the past 4 years into the new iPhoto (it's FAST!), backed up all of fatpaulie.com, and installed movable type 3.2 from scratch.

Then I set all the templates, all the archives, re-imported all the posts into a new MySQL database, and voila.

I'm tired now - shaved my beard - won't win the contest at work tomorrow, but I'm going to Edmonton for the weekend for a little Triple-J (Janelle, Joel, and Jeremy!)..

Why doesn't your Dad reply to emails on his site after he asked us to write to him?Steve,my husband of 35 years and Ian went to school together and we had some wild parties at his house.Please ask him to contact us for a chat about old times.We are in NZ and see Heather and Keith sometimes.

Kay, I'm not sure why he doesn't reply. It's likely due to the alzheimer's making him forget he's received mail or the cateracts that have made him completely blind. I really have no explanation for his stupidity.

I'll make sure I read this out loud to him on my next visit to the resting home I've placed him in for his own good.
