Rachel ... Intrepid Blogger

Yay! This is exciting ... I am an intrepid blogger!!! I have so much to say. Likely not very much that will be interesting to the fatpaulie.com masses, but, I will say it, nonetheless! And, I get an email address (rachel@fatpaulie.com) ... and a cute cartoony image of myself. How can you say no to that? Really.

NOTE TO SELF (and anyone reading this note to myself): Must create Rachel merchandise to add to the fatpaulie store on cafepress.com to sell to friends and family.

But, what does it mean to be an intrepid blogger for fatpaulie.com and what are the qualifications? I assume, by definition of the word, that an intrepid blogger must be courageous, audacious and invulnerable to intimidation. I am all of those things ... occasionally to my own detriment. Also, fatpaulie bloggers must enjoy life. I certainly do ... also, occasionally to my own detriment! *sigh*

Not to mention, Paul said I could. (Thanks Paul!)

So, with my first post, I thought I should introduce myself. You already know that I am intrepid, enjoy life and am very excited to be a new blogger. The truth is, I get very excited about alot of things ... especially holidays ... and my birthday. (This all goes back to the enjoying life thing.) I also enjoy diet pepsi and new shoes. I anticipate that I will die a horrible aspartame-related death and I have come to terms with that. And, you can look forward to plenty of posts about shoes (I know ... the anticipation is TOO much!). I spend most of my free time with my dog, Levi, and I took up flamenco dancing this year! I love flamenco ... plus I got new flamenco shoes (this exact model, but leather rather than suede) when I started! I also love fabulous food, travelling, reading ... and, this is beginning to sound like a personal ad, so I will stop now.

Needless to say, there is far more to me than the random qualities and interests that I've listed. But, honestly, those are the important ones. I can blog about the rest later! Yay!!!
